The Trinity Story 1872 - 2022
The Trinity Story 1872 – 2022 provides a narrative of the abundant life and times of Trinity as envisioned by the founding fathers and then richly nurtured by teachers, students, and staff in building the Trinity home. It tells of how it was built on foundations and traditions and handed down through generations to what may still justifiably be called the Best School of All.

#OnThisDay Did you know? Rev. R. W. Stopford, born in 1901, led Trinity College, Kandy as Principal from 1935 to 1941.
From 1935 to 1941, he guided the College during a time of reform. He later became Bishop of London and was appointed Knight Commander of the Royal Victorian Order (KCVO) in 1973.
His final words to the Trinity community remain powerful even today:
“Think Fairly, Build Bravely, Love Widely.”
